Text Box:  Paul A. Maher (trainer): Paul began his career with a 5 year stint for successful Victorian trainer Colin W. Little. He then rode trackwork for Tony Vasil for 4 years. During his time at the Vasil stable, Paul had a lot to do with legendary trainer Bob Hoysted, trainer of champion racehorses Manikato and Sydeston. Paul has been training outright for 4 years and has wasted no time building a promising stable including the city winner Poco Presto and the promising lightly raced Newly.  Shiralee Waddell (track rider): Shiralee is Paul’s stable track rider, fore-person and race-day strapper. As a track rider, she is much sought-after by other trainers. Prior to joining Paul Maher Racing Stables, she worked at stud farms in the highlands of Southern NSW. She has looked after and worked with horses her whole life.
